Stay Home Sundays: July 19th, 2020

Welcome to Stay Home Sundays, our new series about fun home projects and DIYs that we can tackle with a little more time at home. Each week, we’ll be sharing some fun projects to spruce up your home, with items you probably already have on hand or can easily pick up curbside or have delivered. Read on for our favorite projects and ideas for this week!

A Modern House Number Planter

Supplies Needed: Modern brass numbers (5 inches tall), wood pieces, drill and drill bits, hammer, small nails, wood glue, white paint (or your favorite color).

Why we love it: This project isn’t an all day affair and is a great way to add some modern curb appeal to your home! Plus, it’s customizable to your taste, so you can change the color of the planter or numbers, and add whatever flowers, ferns, or plants you love.

An Under The Bed Shoe Organizer

Supplies Needed: Lumber per plans, Plexiglass sheet, Casters, Pulls of your choice, Hinges, 1¼” pocket hole screws, ¾” wood screws, Wood glue, Kreg Pocket hole Jig, Kreg right angle clamp, Power Drill, Circular Saw, Miter Saw
Jig Saw or BladeRunner X2.

Why We Love It: While this project might take a little more patience, the end result is so worth it. This is a great storage solution! (Goodbye, tripping over shoes in your closet!). It’s also easy enough to forego the top if you’re looking to save a little time.
