YOUR BULL CITY WEEKEND: JANUARY 28TH – 30TH

Winter Hike Series – Sunday, 2-4pm – This afternoon hike takes you through the Confluence Natural Area, where the east and west forks of the Eno River flow from the north to merge in north Hillsborough. The hike is geared toward adults, but children are welcome with an accompanying adult. Registration is required.

Wine, Cheese and Charcuterie Pairing Night with Old North Meats – Friday, 7-9pm – Taste housemade charcuterie samples paired with wines at Durham Food Hall. There will be a distributor partner on-site to walk participants through each pairing.

Triangle Restaurant Week – Through Sunday – This week-long culinary celebration offers special three-course menu options and fixed pricing at participating restaurants across the Triangle including Bleu OliveDashiDos Perros and other Durham eateries. No reservations, tickets or passes required.

The Art Walk
Hillsborough’s Last Friday Art Walk returns this weekend with live music and poetry performances, maker markets, family-friendly activities and more. The event runs the last Friday of each month until November from 6-9 p.m.

Puppet Making Community Workshop 
Hillsborough Arts Council hosts its first puppet making workshop of 2022 from 2:30-5 p.m. in preparation for its Handmade Parade taking place in April. This beginner-friendly class on crafting and sculpting parade puppets uses found objects like cardboard, paper bags, worn backpacks, old broomsticks and anything laying around, really.
