Family Farm Animal & Harvest Day  – Saturday, 10am-2pm – Duke Homestead celebrates the culture and history of North Carolina farming with activities like a tobacco looping contest, hornworm race and crafts. Visit farm animals and enjoy local vendors. 

Jazz at RambleRill Farm
The Lenny Marcus Trio, comprised of a pianist, drummer and bassist, will play at RambleRill Farm at 7 pm. While the jazz concert will be held inside, the farm will open at 5 p.m. for picnicking and exploring the property.

Kayak 101
The Kayaking 101 class is designed to give paddlers the needed foundation of skills and techniques to build your kayaking skills.

Durham City of Medicine Walking Tour
Founded by fortune, ruled by the Duke Family & a few others, scented by tobacco in a bygone era. Today, Durham is an urban playground of diversity, smart people, and authenticity. Explore downtown and its history on this 90-minute walking tour.

Herbal Liquid Soap From Scratch
Learn the basics of making herbal liquid soap with Deena Class, an herbal educator, from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m at the North Carolina Botanical Garden. Deena specializes in creating allergy-friendly products and will lead participants in making soaps free from common allergens and artificial ingredients. By the end of the class, attendees will have an understanding of safety, formulating recipes, choosing herbs and soap dilution. 

Adult Field Day at the Farm
Reconnect with your inner child and compete in field day events like dodgeball, kickball, tug of war and more at The Honeysuckle Tea House from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Bring the whole family – there will be plenty of activities for the kids, plus food and drink available on-site.
