Evening Eno Exploration Paddle – Friday, 7:30-9:30pm – Join Two Sisters Adventure Company for a guided evening paddle down the lower Eno River as it flows into Falls Lake. Choose a single-person kayak or two-paddler canoe (with room for one additional adult or child) and experience the magical world of birds, frogs, fireflies and owls that are active in the evening.

Durham’s Tobacco Heritage: Downtown Tour – Saturday, 10am – Preservation Durham offers walking tours departing from Major the Bull at 221 W. Parrish St. that detail the rise and influence of the tobacco industry through oral histories, photographs and descriptions of the lives of factory workers and other community members who witnessed Durham’s industrial heyday.

Bored Teachers Comedy Tour – Saturday, 7pm – Teachers perform comedy skits on stage at the Carolina Theatre’s Fletcher Hall.

Slippery Hill Bluegrass – Saturday, 11am – Catch the father-son bluegrass and folk duo that will have you tapping feet, clapping hands and participating in call-response and sing-along songs at Carolina Theatre’s Cinema One.

Moms & Mimosa’s: Melanated Wine Brunch Experience – Sunday, noon-2pm – Chapel Hill’s J.M.S. Catering provides brunch fare for this Melanated Wine event at the winery’s tasting room.

Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea
The Honeysuckle Tea House is hosting an afternoon tea event from 2-5 p.m. Enjoy a select menu of Honeysuckle’s teas, food and pastries and an art project led by local mural artist, Jennifer Wood. Children’s tickets are $22.50, adults tickets are $45, and the art class add-on option is $35.
