Kids Night Out – Friday, 5:30-8:30pm – Desperate for a date night? Bring your 5 through 10-year-olds to the Museum of Life and Science for an evening of science experiments, exhibit tours, games and pizza while you enjoy a few hours to yourself. 

Celebrate National Women’s Day – Friday, 6:30-8:30pm – Paint portraiture tributes to poet, memoirist and civil rights activist Maya Angelou with artist Lila Edwards of Durham’s Wine & Design. Bring your own beverage, and leave your anxieties at the door – no experience is necessary for this workshop! 

Art-n-Soul Makers Market – Saturday, noon-4pm – Sip, stroll and shop as you meet local artisans and enjoy a free bourbon tasting at Mystic Farm & Distillery. Listen to Mystic Mayhem’s lively music and stop by Mesas and Taqueria La Capital food trucks as you explore the market’s vendors. 

UNC vs. Duke Game Night – Saturday, 6:30-8:30pm – The Glass Jug Beer Lab downtown hosts its second game night to celebrate our community’s historic rivalry. Enjoy cold beer, food trucks and two big TV screens – everything you need to enjoy the showdown!

Cold Brew Comedy – Saturday, 7-8:30 p.m. – Laugh until you cry at Lanza’s Cafe as you hear a few talented comedians share their craft with the Carrboro community.

Hayti Heritage Film Festival – Thursday, 7pm through Saturday, 7:30pm – Discover the power of storytelling through film at Hayti Heritage Center during this annual celebration of Southern Black cinema that features documentaries, short and feature-length films, Q&A sessions and panel discussions, all highlighting filmmakers of African descent.
