Your Weekend Guide to Bull City and Beyond: February 18th – 20th

Third Friday Durham Art Walk & Gallery Crawl – Friday, 6-9pm – This monthly event features local artists at various downtown venues and galleries such as 5 Points GalleryPS118 Gallery & Event SpaceCecy’s Gallery & Studios and Durham Arts Council. Support local creators, browse stunning works of art and add unique pieces to your personal collection. There will be street performances by musicians J.C. TokesMaxine Eloi and David Lewis and David Buchwalter from 5:30 to 7:30pm.

Durham’s Home Goods Market – Saturday, 10am-2pm – Local artisans, vendors and designers specializing in home goods and furnishings gather at Black Wall Street Gardens for this monthly market. Find the perfect decor, artwork or antique to gift a friend or add to your home.

Carolina Jazz Festival 
The 45th annual festival features performances from headliner The Theo Croker Quartet, the UNC Jazz Band and guest trumpeter Rachel Therrien during the three-day event held at Memorial Hall, the James and Susan Moeser Auditorium in Hill Hall and Durham’s Sharp Nine Gallery.

Cupid’s Jam
Support the Ronald McDonald House of Chapel Hill this weekend at Cat’s Cradle. Enjoy live music from School of Rock House Chapel Hill bands from Cary, Chapel Hill, Raleigh, Wake Forest and Wilmington. A $10 donation is encouraged, and all proceeds benefit RMHCH. Doors open at 12:30 p.m. and the show starts at 1 p.m.

Great Backyard Bird Count | Sat., Feb. 19 | 10 a.m.-12 p.m. | NCMA | Free | Bundle up and bring your binoculars to help the museum count and track birds for this annual + worldwide citizen-science event.
