Your Weekend Guide To Bull City & Beyond: April 15th – 17th

Dino Egg Hunt – Thursday-Sunday – Hunt for colorful dinosaur eggs, excavate fossils, work on skeleton puzzles and more during this annual event at Museum of Life and Science

Third Friday – Friday, 6-9pm – This gallery crawl features our city’s extensive list of art studios and museums around downtown. This month, expect live music by David Lewis at the Durham Arts Council as well as a performance by Cam Knopp5 Points Gallery also features new paintings by local artist Susan Woodson. Her “Birds with Attitude” will be on view through May 7.

Pop-Up Egg Hunt – Saturday, 10am-noon – Find hidden eggs, enjoy a puppet show, play traditional games and more during this free, family-friendly event at Duke Homestead State Historic Site

Triangle Pop-Up Market – Saturday, 11am-3pm – This traveling pop-up market featuring more than 40 local makers makes a stop at Boxyard RTP. Shop unique fashion, handmade goods and creative decor from small Triangle-based businesses.

Carrboro Community Egg Hunt Celebration 
Take part in another egg hunt for children ages 2-10 at Hank Anderson Community Park. This egg hunt sponsored by Carrboro Parks and Recreation takes place from noon-2 p.m. and is free to the public. 

Pop-Up Garden Tour
Hillsborough Garden Club showcases three small gardens throughout Forest Ridge to commemorate Pollinator Week. Within easy walking distance of each other, the featured gardens include Forest Ridge Pollinator GardenWindsong Gardens and Small Space Climbing Garden, Sweet Field Garden & Dear Garden. This free event takes place from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. 

Easter Egg Hunt for Dogs
Returning for its sixth year after a two-year hiatus, Hillsborough Police Department and Top Dog Training and Resort co-host an egg hunt and costume contest for furry friends from 10 a.m.-noon. Bring your pup to Gold Park and let them hunt for treat-filled eggs hidden throughout the park. Independent Animal Rescue will be on- site with dogs available for adoption.
