Your Weekend Guide To Bull City & Beyond: April 22nd – 24th

Library Fest – through Saturday – Durham County Library and Durham Library Foundation host this second annual event. This year’s theme surrounds food, and the event will offer virtual and in-person programs for all ages, including cooking classes for kids, bilingual programs, a digital history exhibit, STEAM programs, coffee meetups, business programs and more.

An Evening With Branford Marsalis – Thursday and Friday, 8pm – Duke Performances presents the Grammy Award-winning artist and his quartet for two shows showcasing their newest jazz album, “The Secret Between the Shadow and the Soul,” at Baldwin Auditorium.

Earth Day Festival – Sunday, noon-5pm – Durham Parks & Recreation hosts this annual celebration at Durham Central Park with a multitude of culinary offerings, Earth Day-inspired market goods, eclectic music, hands-on environmental education activities and more.

Bull City Roundup Food Truck Rodeo and Vendor Market – Sunday, 12:30-7:30pm – Eat your heart out at this quarterly event at 305 S. Dillard St. Enjoy musician Gavin Maestro’s soul-infused sounds, and check out vinyls from special guest and record dealer Gene Brown. An adult zone will feature a cigar lounge and bar. Attendees are encouraged to RSVP to help vendors plan accordingly.

Chapel Hill Garden Tour 
Visit the North Carolina Botanical Garden as well as six private gardens during this annual tour hosted by the Chapel Hill Garden Club on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. This one-of-a-kind experience features extraordinary landscapes that take years to cultivate.

Arts on Market at Southern Village
The bi-annual event hosted by Southern Village supports regional artists, artisans, bakers and makers. Shop local on the Southern Village Green from 1 to 5 p.m.
