The Duke Street Dogs – Friday, 6pm – The Blue Note Grill hosts this four-piece acoustic blues band, whose members have performed together in various bands since the 1970s, and at the Blue Note for more than a decade.
Here Comes the Sun – Through Saturday – This collection, on view until Saturday, features work from all nine of the local artists featured at 5 Points Gallery. Artwork varies from fused glass, painting and sculpture to mixed metals.
Rock the Park – Saturday, 6-8pm – Join Durham Parks and Recreation at Southern Boundaries Park to listen to tunes from DJ Terminator X and hip-hop group The Sample Supreme while enjoying a bite from local food vendors.
Bull Moon Ride and Run – Saturday, 7-9:30pm – A 9.6-mile bike ride and 5K race depart from the Durham Bulls Athletic Park at 7pm and 7:15pm, respectively, and are followed by a block party that includes live music from Into the Fog. Participants can enjoy a free plate of barbecue and beer. Choose “party-only” admission to skip right to the celebration! Funds raised benefit Habitat for Humanity of Durham.

Vocalists from the International Young Artists Project, a program in residency at UNC, present Mozart’s comic opera “Le Nozze di Figaro.” The show will be on campus at Hill Hall starting at 7 p.m. Check out this classic while supporting the intensive work of the IYAP 2022 class.
