Winter Love Letter to Durham – Friday and Saturday, 6pm and 8:30pm – Celebrating 13 years in downtown Durham, Beyu Caffe brings back its live music as a pop-up series. This community centered shop offers performances by JaShaun Peele and Dreamroot paired with chef-inspired cuisine and signature cocktails.

Poet Laureate Showcase – Friday, 6-7:30pm – Stop by the Hayti Heritage Center to celebrate Durham’s first-ever poet laureate, D.J. Rogers, who will showcase his work and participate in a Q&A session.

Triangle Pop-Up Market – Saturday, 11am-3pm – Get your Saturday started at Boxyard RTP with food, drinks, live music and shopping for unique gifts, handcrafted goods and art made by more than 40 local creators. Boxyard RTP’s in-house vendors will also be open for business.

Patchwork Holiday Market – Saturday and Sunday, noon-4pm – More than 100 local vendors share their wares across two days (with different vendors featured each day) at the Durham Armory.

Holiday Open House – Sunday, 1-5pm – Head over to West Point on the Eno to join Durham Parks and Recreation during its annual winter celebration rife with holiday festivities that include beverages, crafts, holiday music and decorations for all to enjoy.

Hanukkah Festival – Sunday, 2-5pm – Jewish for Good hosts a celebration for the Festival of Lights with giant inflatables, face painting, crafts, festive foods such as sufganiyot (jelly doughnuts) and latkes, and more. Bring the family out to see an 8-foot-tall menorah lit for each night of Hanukkah, and enjoy a showstopping spectacle co-produced by Chabad at Duke University & Durham Chapel Hill.
