Triangle Restaurant Week – Through Sunday – Indulge in a weeklong celebration of culinary excellence during this bi-annual event that showcases premier restaurants in Durham and the surrounding area. Participating establishments offer special three-course menu options and fixed pricing, providing a great opportunity for residents and visitors alike to savor the Triangle’s finest cuisine. 

Beverly Botsford and Catch a Groove Quartet – Saturday, 11am – Cross-cultural percussionist Beverly Botsford and her band blend jazz, soul, blues, African and Latin American rhythms to create a vibrant celebration of culture, history, creativity and teamwork for children and families at the Carolina Theatre.

NC Rare & Vintage Beer Tasting – Saturday, 3-6pm – Sip on one-of-a-kind brews poured by 50-plus different brewery representatives from around the country at this 12th annual event at the historic Durham Athletic Park. The event is a fundraiser for The Michael James Jackson Foundation for Brewing & Distilling, to support the mission of advancing technical education and career opportunities for people of color within the industry. After the event, head to Hi-Wire Brewing for the official after-party, and stop by Beer Study on Friday for the official pre-party, which features breweries attending the festival for the ultimate takeover!

Really Really Free Market – Sunday, 10am-2pm – Take part in a money-free market hosted by North Durham Mutual Aid at Northgate Park. Bring what you have and take what you need, or brainstorm skills to share with others!

Classic and Charming: Retro Arcade and Vintage Market – Saturday, 11am-11pm – Indulge in nostalgia at DSSOLVR with free-to-play video games, exclusive drink specials, a photo booth, themed drinks and carefully curated ’90s-themed vendors for a blend of classic gaming, vibrant spirits and throwback charm.

2024 Chili Contest – Sunday, 3pm – Do you have the best chili recipe around? Let the people decide! West 94th Street Pub hosts this chili competition – free to enter and taste – judged by the Pub Family
