Your Weekend Guide to Bull City & Beyond: July 5th – 7th, 2024

Guided Walking Tours with Triangle Adventures – Saturday, July 6, 2pm – Experience the history of downtown Durham on a guided walking tour. Learn about Durham’s pivotal role in the industrialization of the American South and its transformation into an icon of modernity.

Beginning Bonsai Workshop at Sarah P. Duke Gardens – Saturday, July 6, 9am-1pm – Start your bonsai journey with the Triangle Bonsai Society. Create a bonsai tree to take home while learning about the art and science of this ancient practice. All materials provided.

Guided Supported Canoeing, Kayaking, and Standup Paddleboarding at Eno River – Saturday, July 6, 9:30am – Enjoy a day on the water with equipment provided. Explore the Lower Eno River and its serene environment, with guides available on shore to assist when needed.

Jazz Brunch at Lula & Sadie’s – Sunday, 10am-1pm – Enjoy soulful melodies and rhythmic beats at Lula & Sadie’s weekly jazz brunch. Savor delicious brunch offerings while local jazz musicians serenade you with smooth tunes. Free admission.

Open Mic Night at Moon Dog Meadery – Sunday, July 7, 6:30pm – Show off your talents at Open Mic Night, presented with ComedyDurham. Sign-ups begin at 6:30pm. Whether it’s comedy, music, poetry, or any artistic performance, all are welcome!
