Your Weekend Guide to Bull City & Beyond: June 30th – July 2nd, 2023

Red, White and Brew Weekend – Saturday, 10am through July 4 – Join The Glass Jug Beer Lab at its downtown location for hot dogs and slushies to celebrate Independence Day. Free hot dogs will be provided for guests on Tuesday, grilled up by owners Chris Creech and Katy Creech.

Triangle Bonsai Society Bonsai Expo – Saturday, 10am-5pm, and Sunday, 10am-4pm – Enjoy an array of carefully pruned plants, created and exhibited by the Triangle Bonsai Society, at the Doris Duke Center at Sarah P. Duke Gardens. This two-day exhibit includes more than 50 bonsai created in multiple styles; guests will have the opportunity to learn basic bonsai skills at daily demonstrations, ask questions and vote for your favorite bonsai. 

Enofest – Saturday and Tuesday, 10am-6pm – Stop by one of the region’s premier Fourth of July celebrations for live performances on four stages, craft artists, local foods and a beer garden – all along the banks of the Eno River. Proceeds benefit the Eno River Association and its efforts to preserve this beautiful area’s natural, cultural and historic resources.

Wonderbop – Saturday, 6-9pm – Enjoy live music, spoken word performances, DJs, cotton candy from Wonderpuff and more at Boxyard RTP during this monthly event in collaboration with Only Us Media and Blackspace

Team On Draft Bike MS Fundraiser Night – Saturday, 3-8pm – Enjoy soft pretzels and beer served by members of the cycling team, Team On Draft, and a live performance from WhoIAre at The Glass Jug Beer Lab in RTP to raise money for multiple sclerosis. All proceeds from pretzel sales and cash and tip donations will go directly to On Draft and its Bike MS New Bern fundraiser.

Fourth of July Cookout – Sunday, 4-9pm – Enjoy a summertime cookout – think wood-fired roasted treats like churrasco sliders, roasted chicken, veggie kabobs and elote – on Motorco Music Hall‘s new veranda.
