Your Weekend Guide to Bull City & Beyond: September 29th – October 1st, 2023

Fall Night Market – Friday, 5:30-9:30pm – Join ZincHouse Winery and Brewery for a night of live music, food trucks and drinks while shopping from more than 20 local vendors! No children are allowed on ZincHouse property after 6pm. 

Oktoberfest – Saturday, noon – Break out the lederhosen and dirndls and welcome the month of October in with a day full of beer and music at Beer Study! Enjoy rock, pop and more from the ‘80s to the 2020s as Stray Volts provides live music, taste from Beer Study’s curated tap list and savor German-inspired food from The Boot Room.

2023 Triangle Parade of Homes – Saturday and Sunday, noon-5pm – Take your time on a free self-guided tour of various new homes throughout the Triangle and see the newest technology, designs and home decor presented by the Home Builders Association of Durham, Orange & Chatham Counties and the HBA of Raleigh-Wake County.

Bullhorn Fest – Saturday, noon-9:30pm – Celebrate local musicians and community at Shadowbox Studio for the 3rd annual Bullhorn Fest! Featured artists for this year’s event include new and returning artists, such as Triangle Afrobeat OrchestraUglowDebbie the ArtistKen Moshesh and Friends and more. Food will be available from Taqueria Garcia, arts and crafts will be for sale by local creators and creative activities will be led by The Scrap Exchange

Pumpkin Patch Express – Saturdays and Sundays in October, beginning on Sept. 30 – Create fall memories at the Museum of Life and Science! Hop aboard this annual festive fall train ride on the Ellerbe Creek Railway to visit its pumpkin patch. Pick out the perfect pumpkin to decorate, and enjoy other activities including a hay maze, duck races, nature bingo and more before climbing on the train for a ride back to the station. 

A Taste of Greece – Saturday and Sunday, 11am-7pm – Indulge in the flavors and experience the traditions of Greece at St. Barbara Greek Orthodox Church. The event offers a spread of traditional Greek dishes, ranging from gyro pita wraps to baklavá, and all items will be available for take-out or to enjoy in dining tents, surrounded by Greek music. A portion of the proceeds will benefit relief efforts for Ukraine and Ukrainian refugees.
